issues that many beginner marketers face.

1.   Selecting a business model

This is by far the most important decision you will need to make.  There is

arbitrage, product creation, ecommerce, Kindle publishing, domaining and much

more.

The key to success faster than most of the other people on the internet will

Be to focus on a single business model.  Ideally, you should select one that you could be innately suited to.

For example, if you prefer working for others, freelancing is appropriate

for you.  There are many freelancers such as writers, copywriters, graphic

designers, software designers who make 5 to 6 figure sums working as

freelancers.  If you are good, you’ll be sought after.

If You Want to build your own business where you’re your own boss, you’ll

Need to look at the skills you have or your natural abilities.  If you write well,

Kindle publishing might be calling your name.

If you enjoy teaching others, you can create classes and launch your own

products.  So, ask yourself what you truly enjoy doing and what you’re good at.

This is the key to unlocking your success online.  Do what you are naturally

good at.

2.   Mastering the ‘tech stuff’

Thousands of newbies quit on their internet marketing dreams just because

the tech stuff overwhelms them.  The truth is that almost all of the technical details

are easy, when you know how.

And if you really do not want to do it, you can always hire a freelancer

to do it for you.  Never quit on your online business simply because you can’t

sort a tech issue out.  Rest assured, there are thousands of qualified and

reliable freelancers who can help you.

In most cases, you can learn just about anything from setting up a blog

To automating delivery of a product and more, by simply doing a few Google

searches or look on YouTube for tutorials.

Intimidating, but don’t let them scare you off your online marketing path.

There’s absolutely no rush.  Take your time and resolve them, or pay someone to do it for

you.

3.   Learning to drive traffic

Traffic generation is one of those skills that you MUST possess if you

Wish to succeed online.  While you could hire agencies to do it for you, if you are a beginner, it’ll be costly.

It’s better to learn it yourself so you don’t need to rely on other people.

The secret to success with traffic generation will be to focus on one or two

methods.  Not more.

For example, you may choose to focus on Pinterest advertising and Facebook

ads.  As soon as you choose the traffic generation method/s, stick to the chosen

ones before you see results.

It may take time for you to get the hang of things, but once you master

The fundamentals, you will see trickles of traffic … and it’ll snowball into

enormous amounts of traffic.

The 3 difficulties mentioned previously are nothing to be worried about.  Adopt

A proactive approach and take consistent focused action daily and online success

Will inevitably be yours.

Building an Online business can seem like a convoluted and arduous process.  There are somany moving parts and you will need to get them all in alignment and functioning smoothly to start generating profits.

While there Is some truth to the scenario mentioned previously, the truth is that to build a successful online business requires only 5 components.

The ‘make Money online’ scene is replete with classes and apps and’techspeak’ which only confuses and discombobulates most newcomers.  This’sound’ drowns out the fundamental concepts of online marketing.

In truth, The 5 components below are all you actually need.

  1. An informative and engaging blog

Having a website is a MUST.  It doesn’t matter whether you are doing Kindle Publishing or affiliate marketing using social networking sites, you absolutely MUST have a blog/website.

This will enable you to build your list and a connection with your

audience.  The problem with relying on social networking accounts such as Facebook or YouTube is that you’re going to be subject to their rules and they can throw you out at any time without warning.

Thousands of people have lost their accounts and seen their businesses|companies} dry Up overnight because they put all their eggs in one basket… and it was someone else’s basket.

Build your own site which you could call your own.  This is crucial.

  1. Products you can sell or promote

To make money online, you have to sell something.  If you are an affiliate Marketer, you will be promoting other people’s products — and once again, something has to be sold that you make a commission.

However you look at it, you are selling.  As obvious as this may

Noise, so many beginner marketers never seem to wrap their head around.  They are so busy buying products and consuming information that they fail to realize they are NOT selling anything.

You’ll not make a cent unless you sell.

  1. Traffic

Traffic is the lifeblood of any online business.  Contrary to popular

Belief, a beautiful website and decent content alone are no guarantees.  You’ll have to actively generate traffic to your site.

You can either use paid visitors (faster but more difficult/expensive to

Master) or free traffic which basically is either search engine optimization or

siphoning off traffic from more popular sites.

You may do a mixture of both or concentrate on just one method.  Either way, you MUST make traffic generation a daily task.  Do something every single day which will contribute to creating traffic to your web properties.

  1. A budget

People often scoff at estimates such as”It takes money to make money”… and

They use quotations such as”You do not lack resources.  You lack resourcefulness.”

All these self-help quotes aside, the truth of the matter is that you

Cannot multiply by zero.  You will need money to buy a domain, pay for hosting and an autoresponder.  If you’re doing paid advertising, you’ll need funds for that also.

While the amount of money needed to build an Internet Business is a

Fraction of what you would want to build a brick-and-mortar business, the truth is that it helps to have a couple hundred dollars on your budget when you’re starting out.

Therefore, if you have a day job, do save up until you have some funds for your

business.  Don’t be too quick to quit your day job.  Work at your job while

working on your business.

When You earn enough online to rival your monthly salary at your day Job, you can decide if you would like to quit and go full-time.

  1. A responsive email list

The last and most important component is your list.  There’s no denying The efficiency of a responsive list.  A list of buyers (people who’ve bought from you before) is invaluable.

Subscribe to a Trusted autoresponder service such as Aweber,

GetResponse, ConvertKit, etc. and build your list.

These are the 5 basic factors which will decide if your internet Company takes off or fails.  Do give them the attention they need and your Company will soar in record time.
